Rofino Licuco is the CEO and Founder of VBC Corporation, a Mozambican developer with over 20 years of experience in real estate, trade, and energy projects. An award-winning entrepreneur, Rofino has led the development of notable commercial and residential properties, with VBC Energy Towers being his landmark project. Under his leadership, VBC earned the International Gold Star for Quality in 2012 for excellence in customer satisfaction and innovation.His background includes an executive real estate certification from Oxford University’s Said Business School, complemented by training in management, accounting, and building design. Early entrepreneurial pursuits—from selling oil on the streets at eight years old to managing a bicycle rental business and trading technology across borders by age 15—reflect his longstanding drive and business acumen. In addition to his professional work, Rofino supports OBRA DOM ORIONE, an organization assisting children with special needs, and House Matthew 25, which provides meals to the homeless in Maputo.
Sandra Abelho Do Rosario is the Chief Financial Officer at VBC, bringing over 16 years of finance and accounting experience, including 8 years in auditing, 10 years in accounting, and 2 years in Human Resources Management in high-stakes sectors like oil, gas, and civil construction. Sandra has a proven record of overseeing large-scale projects valued at up to USD 250 million. In her role at VBC, Sandra leads the company’s financial strategy, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Additionally, she is a member of Mozambique’s Accounting and Auditors Bar (OCAM). Sandra previously held roles at Odebrecht Mozambique as a Financial and Tax Manager, where she achieved substantial tax savings, enhanced compliance processes, and managed financial reporting for multiple projects. Her auditing background includes her role as Audit Assistant Manager at PwC Angola, where she led a team of 27 and managed client portfolios across various sectors, such as Exxon Mobil and the Odebrecht Group. Her proactive, results-oriented approach and strong focus on compliance and efficiency make her a pivotal leader in VBC’s financial and operational success.
Sérgio Manhique is the Commercial Director at VBC Corporation, bringing over 3 decades of banking and commercial experience. Since joining VBC in 2021, he has led strategic negotiations with subcontractors and partners, overseen the financial management of the VBC Energy Towers project, and directed initial engagements with consultants on renewable energy initiatives. His role also includes participation in treasury bond auctions and local market investments. Sérgio’s extensive banking background includes roles at Barclays Bank Mozambique, where he gained foundational experience in accounting, internal control, and branch operations management. He further developed his expertise as Credit Director at FNB Mozambique, overseeing credit portfolios, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Sérgio serves as Vice-President of the Trade and Services area at Mozambique’s Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA).

SITE PROJECT MANAGER
Anacleto Sixpence is VBC Corporation's Legal Counsel, bringing over 10 years of expertise in tax and legal matters, with a focus on ensuring compliance and optimizing tax structures across a variety of sectors. He holds a Law Degree from Universidade Politécnica and is a registered lawyer with the Mozambique Bar Association. Before joining VBC as Tax and Legal Manager, Anacleto spent nearly 9 years at PwC Mozambique, where he rose to the position of Assistant Manager. At PwC, he played a critical role in maintaining tax compliance for companies in sectors such as insurance, energy, banking, oil and gas, construction, and trade, also assisting these companies through tax audit processes. Anacleto is dedicated to excellence in tax advisory, holding an Advanced Certificate in International Taxation from the International Tax Center in the Netherlands, as well as specialized knowledge in Mozambican local taxation from the Catholic University of Portugal.
Luis Brissos serves as the Contracts and Projects Manager at VBC Corporation, bringing over a decade of experience in project and contract management within the real estate and renewable energy sectors. He has managed high-profile projects such as the 150MW Calanga Hybrid Solar and Wind Plant, where he oversaw project planning, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and risk assessment. His extensive background includes significant roles at Royal HaskoningDHV, involved in the development of large-scale infrastructure projects like the Owendo Port in Gabon and the Lekki Deep-Sea Port in Nigeria. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Luis holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Lisbon and an MBA from ISG, Mozambique. His expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from procurement and quality control to financing and strategic planning.
Teofilo Nhantumbo is a Site Project Manager at VBC Corporation with over 18 years of experience in civil engineering, project management, and construction supervision. Since joining VBC in 2014, he has managed key projects, including the construction of the Energy Towers in Maputo and the preventive maintenance of office towers for the Ministry of Justice and Instituto Nacional de Segurança Social. His expertise spans infrastructure projects, from high-rise buildings to wastewater treatment plants. Previously, Teofilo served as a Site Engineer at CMC Africa Austral, overseeing projects such as a cement factory in Beira and infrastructure for the Pan African Games in Maputo. He also held engineering roles with Aurecon Group and Lamont Consulting Engineers, managing water supply rehabilitation and residential developments. Teofilo holds a Civil Engineering degree from Eduardo Mondlane University, complemented by certifications in project management and site management.

Felix Licuco is an Associate at VBC Corporation, with a strong background in financial analysis, project management, and data-driven decision-making in the construction, energy, and consulting sectors. During his tenure at VBC, he played a pivotal role in optimizing two 60 MW Solar PV plant projects by improving database efficiency and significantly reducing costs for a commercial real estate development. He has experience as an Equity Research Analyst at the Imperial College Business School Student Investment Fund and interned at the Credit Guarantee Fund in Angola. Felix holds an MSc in International Management from Imperial College London and graduated with First Class Honours in Financial and Business Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London. Additionally, he is proficient in Python, DCF modeling, and Bloomberg, with additional skills in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts for the energy industry.
Anderson Licuco is an Associate at VBC Corporation, where he supports strategic initiatives in construction, energy, and finance. His experience includes structuring financial models for two 60 MW Solar PV plants and engaging in capital-raising discussions with international financial institutions such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Anderson has also contributed to significant cost savings on a commercial real estate project and structured carbon credit trades aligned with Gold Standards. Currently pursuing a BSc in International Business at Queen Mary University of London, with an exchange year at the George Washington University, Anderson has further honed his skills through an internship at the British International Investment’s (BII) Financial Services Group, where he assessed the impact of investments across productivity, sustainability, and inclusivity metrics. His technical skills include Bloomberg, financial modeling, and Machine Learning. Anderson is also a co-founder of the Licuco Foundation, which has funded water wells for underserved communities in Mozambique, reflecting his commitment to impactful development projects.
